About Prairie Bowhunters

Prairie Bowhunters is an established archery and bowhunting club located in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba. Understanding the need for winter practice, the club meets indoors on Tuesday evenings from December through March at the Central Plains RecPlex gymnasium, allowing members to keep their skills sharp year-round. When the weather warms, Prairie Bowhunters hosts a highly anticipated annual outdoor 3D archery event near the community of Haywood. Serving local hunters and recreational shooters alike, this active club provides a fantastic environment for tuning compound bows, practicing traditional target archery, and enjoying the camaraderie of the Portage La Prairie sporting community.
