About Burning Arrow Archery League

The Burning Arrow Archery League is a unique, community-focused Indigenous archery program based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Founded by Harold J.C. Angeconeb, the program has successfully helped over 500 Indigenous youths and adults reconnect with their cultural heritage through the traditional sporting discipline of archery. The league supports a welcoming, inclusive environment for learning and provides lifetime memberships that often include comprehensive equipment packages and dedicated community training sessions. By blending traditional Indigenous teachings with structured target practice, the Burning Arrow Archery League empowers participants, builds local community strength, and promotes the positive, accessible growth of archery.
