Robin Hood Pole Archery Club was founded in 1929 and is based in St. Boniface, in Winnipeg. Its sport is pole archery, which was first carried out in Belgium as far back as the 11th century. Archers aim up at 37 targets known as birds, which sit on top of a pole that stands 110 feet in the air, and shoots run every Wednesday evening from late April to early September. The club shoots at Mission Park, 625 Provencher Blvd.
