About Bothwell Archery Club

The Bothwell Archery Club is a historic fixture in the Ontario archery community, with roots stretching back to 1967. Known for its warm, family-oriented atmosphere, the club welcomes archers of all ages and skill levels to its indoor facility at the Bothwell Legion. A unique feature of the club is its dedication to Pop-N-Jay, a specialized archery discipline that involves shooting at "birds" on a mast, for which it has hosted national championship tournaments. Meeting regularly on Friday evenings, the club emphasizes fun, affordability, and camaraderie over high-pressure competition. It provides a welcoming entry point for families and children to try the sport without the need for expensive equipment investments. As a registered member of Archery Ontario and Archery Canada, it maintains high standards while keeping the spirit of the sport accessible and enjoyable. Whether you are aiming for a national title or just a fun Friday night out, Bothwell Archery Club offers a supportive community environment.
